Theycollectedeggshellsfromhundredsofsitesaroundthecountry.Andtheyfoundthattheshellfragmentsexhibitedscorchmarksthatsuggestedthattheeggshadbeenpurposefullycookedoveranopenflame.Marksthatwerenotconsistentwiththeeggsgetting,say,burnedupinawildfire.
