很多人可能忘记了华为的麦芒产品线。毕竟随着国产智能手机的快速发展，智能手机的中端市场和高端市场是各个厂商的主战场。虽然华为一直没有放弃麦芒产品线，但其产品定位于中低端市场，主要销售渠道是与电信运营商合作，作为合约机销售，所以市场份额远不及华为Mate系列、P系列、nova系列。
华为智能手机产业发展受限后，“麦芒”产品线被迫出售给中国电信。现在中国电信将“麦芒”定义为自己的5G终端自主品牌，并于7月19日带来了新一代麦芒10 SE 5G手机。不过从这款手机的性价比来看，主要销售渠道可能还是会走合约机的路线。
Mai10SE正面为6.51英寸显示屏，左右两侧和上边框宽度控制在2.13 mm，配合水滴轮廓全面屏的方案，屏占比达到89.3%，20:9的细长比例有利于单手握持，2.5D-D玻璃弧度也提升了用户的握持手感。
这款机型虽然售价1699元，但是相应的硬件配置并不是很理想。在智能手机主流市场，搭载联发科天球1100旗舰芯片的机型，1699元就可以买到，比如小米的红米Note10 Pro(6GB 128GB版本)，而麦芒10 SE也是搭载6GB运行内存，128GB存储空。

在影像系统配置方面，麦芒10 SE的后置摄像头配备了1300万像素镜头、200万像素景深辅助镜头和可以实现4cm微距效果的镜头。三个镜头和闪光灯排列成圆角矩形。
中国电信对于麦芒10 SE 5G的产品口号是“无畏有为，成长在边缘”，始终坚持面向年轻用户市场。不过该机型整体配置采用了低端方案，反而在续航方面配备了5000mAh电池，支持22.5W的超级快充，更像是面对老年用户消费群体。
而中国电信作为电信服务运营商，在销售产品上已经无法与手机厂商的自营渠道相抗衡。当然，卖终端产品并不是电信运营商的主营业务，所以麦芒10 SE的性价比并没有那么重要。毕竟这种模式以后更有可能参与“充话费送手机”的活动。
